CREAssets vs Juniper Square
Juniper Square is a fund operations platform and fund administration service for private markets managers across real estate, private equity, venture and credit. CREAssets is built only for commercial real estate sponsors: underwriting, fundraising, the investor portal, accounting and property management share one record, free until you collect investor money, then $299 a month for every module. If you need audited SOC reports or an outsourced administrator today, Juniper Square is the stronger fit.

7 reasons sponsors move to CREAssets
Each Juniper Square fact below is what Juniper Square publishes, or what its site does not list, as of 2 October 2026.
- 01
A price you can read
Juniper Square publishes no prices and sells through demos; third parties report a historical entry point of about $18,000 a year, scaled by equity. CREAssets is $0 until you collect investor money, then $299 a month for every module.
- 02
No migration bill, first month free
Third-party sites, some of them competitors, report implementation and migration fees and onboarding measured in months. We migrate sponsors with running deals at no cost, and the first month on the Platform plan is free.
- 03
Run the buildings, not just the capital
Property management is not listed in Juniper Square’s product menu. In CREAssets, units, leases, rental applications, maintenance and a tenant portal live on the same deal record as your investors.
- 04
Underwrite where you raise
Underwriting is not listed in Juniper Square’s product menu. The CREAssets AI underwriter turns an OM, rent roll and T-12 into a workbook that becomes the deal — included in the plan.
- 05
Keep your own books
Juniper Square offers fund administration as a service and lists no GP-operated general ledger. CREAssets gives you a double-entry ledger per deal and per asset, with a P&L and balance sheet.
- 06
Marketing in the same product
Email campaigns, landing pages, lead forms, automations and a booking scheduler sit next to your cap table, with email plans at half of Cash Flow Portal’s published price.
- 07
Built only for commercial real estate
Juniper Square serves private equity, venture and credit as well as real estate. CREAssets does one thing: CRE sponsors, from the OM to the K-1 draft.

Which one fits your firm
We would rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one quickly. Here is where each is stronger.
Choose Juniper Square if…

- Adoption matters to your LPs or board. Juniper Square publishes 2,300+ GPs and 750,000+ LPs.

Choose CREAssets if…
- You operate the buildings as well as the capital: units, leases, maintenance and a tenant portal sit on the same deal record.

Frequently asked questions
Is CREAssets SOC 2 certified?
No. CREAssets holds no SOC 1, SOC 2 or ISO certification, and we will not imply otherwise. The controls in place today are TOTP two-factor authentication, tenant isolation on every query, audit logs on consequential actions and rate limiting on public, sign-in and API routes. We answer security questionnaires on request.
How much does Juniper Square cost?
Juniper Square does not publish prices; it sells through demos. Third-party sources report a historical entry point of about $18,000 a year, which Juniper Square has not confirmed. For comparison, CREAssets is free until you collect investor money and then $299 a month for every module, AI included.
Does CREAssets offer fund administration as a service?
No. CREAssets is software: a fund-admin workspace your team runs, with capital accounts, statements, NAV and K-1 drafts from your ledger for your CPA to review. If you want accountants to run administration for you, Juniper Square sells that service.
Can we move from Juniper Square to CREAssets?
Yes, at no cost, and your first month on the Platform plan is free. You get a migration plan within 3 business days of sending your exports and your book loaded within 7 business days; you reconcile before go-live. There is no one-click import.
