CREAssets

Changelog

What we shipped, with dates.

New modules, improvements and fixes in CREAssets for sponsors, investors and residents, newest first.

Entries are curated from our release history. Internal tooling and routine maintenance are left out.

For what each module does today, see the platform overview; for prices, pricing; for how data is protected, security; and for the status of each provider, integrations.

October 2026

  1. ImprovedPlatform

New pricing: start free, every module for $299 a month

Sign up and build deals free. When you start collecting investor money into a deal, one Platform plan covers every module, AI included, for $299 a month. Email marketing and texting are capped plans. The Platform plan is month-to-month, cancel anytime. Sponsors moving running deals from another platform or from spreadsheets get free migration and their first month free.

  2. ImprovedInvestor portal

Accepting an invitation signs investors straight in

An investor who accepts a sponsor’s invitation lands in the portal already signed in. A sign-up waiting on email verification is told to check their inbox instead of being left guessing.

  3. NewEmail

Investors hear when a document is shared with them

Sharing a document with an investor now sends one notification per share, so nothing sits unseen in the portal.

  4. ImprovedEmail

One branded design for every platform email

Investor and account emails share one layout: your firm in the header, amounts set out as a statement, one clear button, and a footer that says who sent the message.

  5. NewCRM & marketing

Email one pipeline stage or one list

Address a marketing email to a single pipeline stage or list, resolved at the moment it sends. Save it and preview it before it goes.

  6. FixedDistributions

Capital call notices go out once, exactly as previewed

A draft capital call no longer notifies anyone. Issuing it sends investors exactly the notice shown in the preview, once.

September 2026

  1. NewSign-in & security

    Sign up with Google

Create a sponsor account with Google sign-in, and your firm is set up in the same step. Magic-link sign-in emails now come from CREAssets too.

  2. ImprovedEmail

    Platform email sends from creassets.com

Invitations, notices and sign-in links are sent as CREAssets from our own creassets.com domain, and signer invitations for e-signature go out the same way.

  3. NewCompliance

Investors hear their identity and accreditation decisions

Investors are emailed when a decision is made on their identity check or accreditation, and new investor sign-ups verify their email address.

  4. NewCompliance

Built-in sanctions screening and identity checks

The Compliance desk screens investors against seven official sanctions lists and sends possible matches to a review queue. Identity documents are captured in the subscribe flow for the sponsor to review. PEP and adverse-media screening is an option, off by default.

  5. NewCompliance

Requirements that follow the offering’s exemption

A new offering takes its compliance defaults from its regime: 506(b), 506(c), Reg A or Reg S. The investor’s verification step asks only for what that regime calls for. These are tools to help you apply the rules; the decisions stay with you.

  6. NewTexting

    Texting, built in

Two-pane conversations and mass-text drafts with names and tracked links, carried by Twilio or Plivo. Texting is a paid plan. Sending starts once your A2P 10DLC registration is approved.

  7. NewProperty management

    Property management workspace

Each deal gets a Property management workspace: units, leases with a ledger per lease, recurring charges that post themselves, maintenance requests, and documents with lease e-signature. A property is the same record as the asset, so nothing is keyed twice.

  8. NewProperty management

    Tenant portal

Residents join by invitation. They see only their own lease, charges and payments, submit maintenance requests and open documents, all in your brand, with an email when something changes.

  9. NewProperty management

Leasing pipeline and online rental applications

Track prospects through a leasing pipeline and share a public link to an online rental application. Screening outcomes are recorded by a person, not decided by the software.

  10. NewProperty management

Online rent and autopay, ready for your provider

Residents can pay rent by ACH from a US bank account and set up autopay once you connect a payment provider. Payments post to the property’s books.

  11. NewAccounting

    Bank sync and bank rules

Upload a bank statement (Plaid bank feeds are built and being enabled). Rent that reaches the bank matches itself, bank rules code repeat lines, and twenty lines can be coded in one action.

  12. NewDeals & offerings

    From sourced opportunity to deal

Underwrite an opportunity before it becomes a deal. The deal then links back to its underwriting and the opportunity it came from.

  13. ImprovedDeals & offerings

Invite investors to a private offering

A private offering shows who can see it, and you can invite investors right beside its visibility setting.

  14. ImprovedCRM & marketing

More automation triggers, goals and folders

Automations gain seven more triggers, a goal step that skips ahead once it is met, folders, and an enrolled count you can export.

  15. FixedFund administration

K-1 drafts for deals held outside a fund

A deal that is not held in a fund now issues its own K-1 drafts from the ledger for your CPA’s review, and its investors find them in the portal.

  16. NewCRM & marketing

    Scheduler with public booking pages

Share a booking page that respects busy time on your connected Google or Microsoft calendar. Guests get a confirmation with a calendar invite and reminders, and can reschedule or cancel themselves.

  17. ImprovedPlatform

Core platform free; AI on its own plan

Every non-AI feature is free to use. AI features (document parsing in underwriting, the assistant and agents) need the AI plan, which starts with a call. (Replaced on 2 October 2026 by the Platform plan.)

  18. NewAI underwriting

Attach files to the underwriting assistant

Attach documents to a question and the assistant reads them alongside your model. Answers are drafts for your review, not investment advice.

  19. NewAI underwriting

AI underwriting workbook, on one engine

Rent roll, T-12 and OM parse into a typed workbook — unit mix, income, expense, finance, CapEx, sale, sensitivity and a cash-flow model — and one engine prices every sheet, so they agree. Output is analysis for your review, not appraisal or advice.

  20. NewAccounting

General ledger and a balance sheet that shows it balances

Each set of books has a general ledger with attachments on entries, and the balance sheet prints a tie-out line so you can see at a glance that it foots.

  21. NewDeals & offerings

Key metrics and funding instructions per class

Set key metrics for each investor class, choose wire, ACH or check per offering, and add per-class investment fees. Investors see only their own class.

  22. NewAccounting

An accounting workspace for every deal

Each deal opens its own set of books, with a register and a P&L that ties to the ledger. Export to CSV, QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) or QuickBooks Desktop (.iif).

  23. NewAI assistant

    Assistant with cited drafts

Ask, draft and act from anywhere in the console. Accepted drafts become versioned documents where every figure is cited to its source record, with comments and approval. Drafts are for human review, not advice.

  24. NewDistributions

Visual builder for classes and waterfalls

Lay out an offering’s classes and waterfall on a canvas, start from class presets and structure kits, and save your own structures as templates.

August 2026

  1. NewE-signature

    In-app e-signature with signing order

Subscription documents are signed inside CREAssets: the investor signs first, then the sponsor countersigns, and the executed PDF and signing certificate are stored with the investment.
