For finance and accounting teams
Report the quarter on numbers that tie out
CREAssets is software for real estate finance and accounting teams: contributions, distributions and allocations post to a capital-account ledger with a reconciliation check, and every deal and asset keeps its own double-entry books.
Updated
Sound familiar?
The work that never scales
Ownership rebuilt every quarter
Capital accounts reconstructed from bank exports and a cap table that drifted.
Books in one system, investors in another
Every distribution keyed twice and reconciled once, if there is time.
Audit trail by memory
Who changed that allocation, and when? Ask around.
With CREAssets
What changes on Monday
A week for the finance team
Bank lines to statements to the CPA — the routine work, and the check built into each step.
- 01 · Monday
Work the bank lines
Upload the week’s bank statements. Every line lands in one review inbox, auto-matching suggests the entry, and bank rules categorize the recurring lines.

Post capital activity
Contributions, distributions and allocations post to the capital-account ledger in one transaction, with a reconciliation check.
- 03 · Wednesday
Run the statements
Print the P&L and balance sheet for the deal and for each asset. Each prints a tie-out line, so an out-of-balance book shows up now, not at year-end.

- 04 · Thursday
Hand off to the accountant
Export journal entries as CSV, .qbo or .iif, and download the P&L, balance sheet and trial balance to Excel. There is no live QuickBooks sync — exports are the hand-off.

Check the trail
Review the audit log of consequential actions. At year-end, generate K-1 drafts from the capital-account ledger for your CPA’s review.

Does it sync live with QuickBooks?
No. CREAssets exports CSV, .qbo and .iif files your accountant can import. It does not sync live with QuickBooks, Sage or Yardi.
Is CREAssets a fund administrator?
No. It is fund-admin software your team (or your administrator) runs. We do not provide fund-administration services.
Can finance staff be kept out of marketing?
Yes. Roles such as Finance, IR and Viewer, plus per-deal scope, decide what each person sees.
