6 reasons sponsors move to CREAssets
Each InvestNext fact below is what InvestNext publishes, or what its site does not list, as of 2 October 2026.
- 01
An amount, not just tier names
InvestNext names Core, Firm and Institution but publishes no amounts. CREAssets publishes every price: $0 to start, $299 a month for every module.
- 02
Free until you raise
InvestNext’s pricing page lists a 12-month initial agreement. With CREAssets you sign up free, pay nothing until you collect investor money into a deal, and then pay month-to-month — cancel anytime.
- 03
No onboarding fee
InvestNext lists an initial data migration and onboarding fee based on your tier. We migrate sponsors with running deals at no cost, and the first month is free.
- 04
A bill that does not grow with AUM
InvestNext prices on “complexity and size”. CREAssets is not priced per seat, per investor, per entity or on assets under management.
- 05
Underwriting and operations included
Underwriting and property management are not listed in InvestNext’s product menu. CREAssets includes AI underwriting, property management and a tenant portal.
- 06
Books on the same record
InvestNext lists fund admin as an add-on and no GP-operated general ledger. CREAssets keeps a double-entry ledger per deal and per asset, with CSV, .qbo and .iif exports.

Which one fits your firm
We would rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one quickly. Here is where each is stronger.
Choose InvestNext if…
- You need a SOC 2 Type II report. InvestNext publishes one, with penetration tests and a 24-hour RTO/RPO; CREAssets holds no certification.
- You want your investor portal on your own domain. InvestNext lists a custom domain add-on; CREAssets applies your logo and colors but does not offer custom portal domains.
- You want to connect AI tools over MCP. InvestNext lists an MCP integration.
- You want a vendor with published customer stories, such as its Cedar Creek Capital onboarding case study.
Choose CREAssets if…
- You want to know the price before you talk to anyone: $0 to start, $299 a month for every module.
- You manage the properties as well as the investors: units, leases, maintenance and a tenant portal on the deal record.
- You want to underwrite on the same record you raise on.
- You want to keep your own books in a double-entry ledger per deal and per asset.
- You want identity checks and sanctions screening in the core product rather than as add-ons.

Frequently asked questions
How much does InvestNext cost?
InvestNext names three tiers (Core, Firm and Institution) but did not publish amounts on its pricing page on 2 October 2026. It lists a 12-month initial agreement and a data migration and onboarding fee, and publishes ACH at 0.03% + $0.25 per transaction, capped at $25. Ask InvestNext for a quote.
Is CREAssets SOC 2 certified?
No. CREAssets holds no SOC 1, SOC 2 or ISO certification, and we will not imply otherwise. The controls in place today are TOTP two-factor authentication, tenant isolation on every query, audit logs on consequential actions and rate limiting on public, sign-in and API routes. We answer security questionnaires on request.
Can our investor portal run on our own domain?
Not in CREAssets today. Your logo and colors appear on the investor portal, tenant portal, forms, emails and PDFs, and you can send email from your own domain, but the portal itself is not served from your domain. InvestNext lists a custom domain add-on.
Can you migrate us from InvestNext?
Yes, at no cost, and your first month on the Platform plan is free. You get a migration plan within 3 business days of sending your exports and your book loaded within 7 business days; you reconcile before go-live. There is no one-click import.
