CREAssets vs Covercy
Covercy prices per legal entity, from $249 to $406 per entity a month, and is strong on banking, payments and integrations, with a 14-day trial. CREAssets is not priced per entity: one $299 monthly plan covers every module once you collect investor money, and it adds AI underwriting, a deal-level ledger and property management with a tenant portal on the same record. Covercy is ahead on banking, live accounting integrations and audited controls.

Moving from Covercy
We migrate your book with you, at no cost, and your first month on the Platform plan is free. Send us your Covercy exports (investors and entities, positions, contributions, distribution history and documents) and we map them into CREAssets together, entity by entity. You reconcile against your own records before investors are invited. If you rely on Covercy’s banking, plan the payment cut-over with your new ACH provider first. Your migration plan arrives within 3 business days of your exports, and your book is loaded for you to check within 7 business days. There is no one-click import: go-live is when you sign off.

Frequently asked questions
How does per-entity pricing add up?
Covercy publishes Standard at $283 per entity a month and Professional at $406, with a slider from 2 to 31+ entities. Multiply by the entities you run, then confirm on its pricing page, since we have not checked the price at every step. CREAssets is $299 a month whether you run 2 entities or 30.
Does CREAssets sync with QuickBooks?
Not live. CREAssets keeps its own double-entry ledger per deal and per asset and exports CSV, QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) and QuickBooks Desktop (.iif). Covercy names a QuickBooks integration, so if a live connection matters, weigh that.
Does CREAssets offer bank accounts?
No. ACH is built in for US bank accounts through a provider you connect (Dwolla, Stripe Treasury or Unit). CREAssets does not hold funds.
Can you migrate us from Covercy?
Yes, at no cost, and your first month on the Platform plan is free. You get a migration plan within 3 business days of sending your exports and your book loaded within 7 business days; you reconcile before go-live. There is no one-click import.
